"The hotel is a traditional beautiful stately home with a lovely spa. The meal in the Brasserie was the best I have had in a long time and the service was great at the restaurant bar and throughout the hotel. Some parts of the hotel have been renovated and others have not leaving it looking a little tired. Our beautiful room had a leak in the ceiling and we had to move on day two as a result. "I didn’t sleep well. The Bed was too hard for me & the pillows were flat & hard too. The Breakfast waitress was not very friendly. First thing she did before seating us was to check her watch. It was just 0910 but we felt uncomfortable & rushed. The minute we had served ourselves hot food it was taken away, so no chance of seconds had we wanted it. "
