The location was ideal for our purpose of stay. Staff very welcoming. Good facilities but a bit tired looking in decor. Room was spacious & very comfortable bed. Bathroom & room very clean, again a little run down. We couldn’t work the bedside lights & forgot to mention this on departure

Staff very friendly and welcoming what let it down in bathroom no hot water tv wasn’t working WiFi not working too tiles along bath dirty but staff moved me to another room but tv and WiFi till not working water was warmer but not hot not worth the amount paid

Great Country Hotel, room in fair condition but windows not cleaned this millennium :-) WiFi very poor in room 212. But otherwise a very pleasant stay, particularly liked the fast check-in and pleasant welcome.

Good overall.
Very friendly staff and a lovely location. A large, comfortable room with one or two maintenance issues that needed sorting but when reported were responded to in a positive way. The fire doors in the corridors close noisily and for some this could be a real disturbance.

In general staff treated arriving guests as an interruption to their conversations. Room with many faults - some lights no functioning, shower fittings broken, sink plug not functioning, toilet seat broken, mould in bath/ shower area, no effective a/c and windows unable to be opened for ventilation. This facility is obviously well past its prime and clearly poorly managed by staff who really don’t care.

First time I have stayed at the Hotel, very impressed and would stay again. One downside food was not available to residents due to a function, but was able to walk into the village where there are several good options to eat.

The hotel is more of a training centre with basic accommodation than a hotel. The lights and TV is our room didn’t work, and the shower only emitted ragingly hot water. We were offered an alternative room to shower in but didn’t fancy shuffling down the corridor and back in pyjamas.
