"The attention to detail at this hotel was amazing, made you feel very special. Fab you could stay in a luxurious hotel room with a dog, great private jacuzzi and the grounds were stunning. Our dog loved your dog agility course and our children had fun on the pumpkin hunt. We will def be back, definitely a special hotel - thoroughly recommend. "

"The is a lovely little in, ideal for a short stop-over. The staff in the pub were extremely welcoming, it has a great atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. The only down side is, the room I stayed in is next to a commercial site which has bright spotlights, this means that even with the curtains closed the room wasn't overly dark. Also the bed wasn't that comfortable, so I didn't sleep very well. Overall a pleasant stay, and possibly somewhere I would consider for a future stay."

"Very friendly host/owner. Managed to get there on the first day before their restaurant service finished and had an excellent spicy pizza. Shame I didn't have time to try other menu items. The room itself was a good size, lots of storage space and a kettle with some coffee/tea on hand. The bed was fine, although a little firm for my taste but otherwise comfortable. There was also a very small, almost cute freeview TV. Lets face it, you're not there to watch TV, but it's good enough and works. My...

"Lovely place, friendly staff. Delicious food and breakfast. Room comfortable, my only minor issue was the sound of the air/con heating unit outside, but i am a light sleeper! Apart from that pretty much perfect! "

"A very pleasant village pub, in an interesting and historic village. The room, on the top floor, was spacious, with a decent bathroom. What was lacking in the room was decent lighting: a single, low-powered LED filament bulb was completely inadequate if you wanted to sit and read. Although breakfast choices were very good, service was slow on both mornings. All in all, rather pricey for the accommodation & service provided."
