"It was very central for the town of Funchal. The room had everything and the lady on reception was very very helpful and friendly. The cooked breakfast could have been warmer and the restaurant kept odd hours and didn't feel like it was part of the hotel. As you are in the heart of the town you have to expect noise at night from residents living nearby"

"Everything was good as i stayed there a few times over the years, but my only complaint is the swimming pool, as i used to work as a life guard years ago at the madeira regency club, the pool looks like theres not much care for. It is all yellow at the bottom around the corners and also around the top of the swimming pool."
