"This was booked for myself and my two children (9-11), so the novelty of them staying on a boat was already a winner. The host greeted us and were so friendly, and couldn't have been more helpful throughout the stay. The room exceeded my expectations. It was clean, comfortable, the decor was fantastic. The bathroom was incredible. 5 stars all in all, I would not hesitate to book here again when staying in London, and will certainty be recommending to friends and family."

"This place was amazing. If you are looking for a cosy, unique, super cool place to stay this is the place for you. We loved it and want to return on our next trip. The communication was great, boat had everything you needed for your stay and was very comfortable (even the pull out couch bed). Fair warning the water pressure is low but the shower temperature was perfect. Can’t wait to go back and hope they add the their fleet. "

"If you want an accommodation just slightly outside the chaos of London and a bit original, don’t hesitate to book. Limehouse basin is a picturesque setting, with easy public transportation access to all of the main events of the city. Extremely quiet and original place to stay. "This is a fun place to stay in so much as my room had a massive outside area, the bed was great and I could look out over the water to watch the fun of Canary Wharf Its very very basic. I had no shower gel etc in the shower, the toilet is a marine toilet, no water offered (or available) so needed me to visit a local shop. Its near all the bars so quite noisy. I'd stay there again but not for that price. Its too expensive for what it is. "

"We weren't sure what to expect as we've never stayed on a boat before but we were all pleasantly surprised. Check-in process was easy, we had great communication with the host and Sara met us at the entrance of the docks to show us everything we needed to know regarding the in/out procedure with the dock and anything else regarding the boat. There are two bedrooms, each one on opposite sides of the boat. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds with a smaller bed between them...

"Taggs Island is such an interesting little enclave close to London and unbeknownst to us before. Set in a small inlet off the Thames, the house is one of a group facing onto the water. Linda, the host, has very much personalised it and provides every comfort. Although an expensive add-on, highly recommend the hot tub, which is deep and relaxing. Only down-side to the situation and rather shattering the peace, is being on the Heathrow flightpath, which we hadn't thought about!"

"We stayed in a city studio and it was nice to have a kitchenette. The couch wasn’t particularly comfortable, but the room was clean. The shower was a nice size. The bed was up against the wall so you have to crawl over the other person if you need to get up in the middle of the night. They clean once a week, which was fine. The staff was very nice. I liked that there was a cafe on the ground floor but wished it was open a bit later than 6 pm. "
