"This hotel has lovely staff, a nice pool that made it - but is very tired and tatty round the edges. The age and stage of the property makes it hard to clean I imagine, particularly the very old changing rooms for the swimming pool."

"I was greeted by a very plesant gentelman who dispite my 5 hour journey made me smile and relaxed the check in was smooth a quick.The room although very warm was clean the bed was extremely comfy i slept on top ofthe covers how i was born .The breakfast was exceptional . The staff are very welcoming and chatty. My only slight disappointment is the bar next to the restaurant was closed early and i was moved to the front bar which has a very distinctive smell of fish. "Our 2nd stay at the Admiral Rodney. Hotel was lovely. Room was spacious, very clean and overlooking the courtyard which meant no road noise. The menu and the quality of the food was much improved from last year. Easy parking in their large car park. Its definitely a 10/10 "

"Loved this place. Not 5 star posh but 5 star different in a good way. Self check in easy peasy and room was just like being a home but tidier! Nice little breakfast bits in room and a lovely kitchen downstairs to use. Excellent price for a good night's sleep. Road was a little noisy but I use earplugs so no worries for me there anyway. Would recommend for a night or 2."
