Building overall tired and shows signs of damp/crumbling in places but clean and general maintenance alright. Bathrooms seem new and they’re nice. Be warned, no lifts…so be prepared to puff your case up a few flights if you’re on the top floor. "

I requested a ground floor room; I was told it would open onto the car park which is in a secure off-street courtyard, but that was actually very convenient for me. Good breakfast. Centrally located in Newbury."
