"Great location. 3 mins from a great beach and near 2 places within walking distance to eat in the evening. A great room with everything you need for a few days away. Staff at the hotel were really accomodating washed and dried our towels and tshirts as we had been on the beach. Beach wraps available to use and a parking permit for the beach so it was free to park. Breakfast was huge and could be afapted as you liked it. "My wife and I stayed for 4 nights for a mini-break to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Mike and Tracey helped us to enjoy our time by suggesting places to visit and good places to dine. They also presented us with a nice box of chocs and a card which was a lovely surprise. "

"On check-in, the desk person seemed displeased that the reservation had been made through Expedia. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Everything else about the room was pleasant. There was an exit door at the back of the second story that led down to the parking lot. We were chastised about using it because "it was a fire door only and was supposed to be locked (?????)". We were also advised that the garden at the bottom of those steps was "her private garden" and that we weren't...

"Lovely setting, well established country hotel. Not many staff so very little interaction. A bit of an odd set up with breakfast at extra cost but you have to book it the night before - either hot or continental. The receptionist forgot to tell me this so it was a bit awkward when we came down to an empty dining room, not knowing what was available to us. That was too much of a faf for us so it was easier to go elsewhere fore breakfast, easier and cheaper."
