"The staff are incredible, always welcoming and friendly. The hotel is located in an old building which has been very well maintained and taken care of, the decor is classic but still modern, the facilities in general are good and the room we stayed in a lot of space and a very comfortable bed. I booked a room for 3 pax with a sofa-bed. We assumed the sofa-bed would be made before we arrived, but it wasn't. There were also only 2 sets of towels, 2 bottles of water, 2 glasses... "I stayed in one the cottages and it was super; clean, cosy & warm and designed to a high standard. The private garden a great addition. The restaurant and food is good quality and I thought priced reasonably. Chilham is a pretty village and the White Horse Inn is also super for a drink with the locals. Canterbury is a short drive, or train journey so a great place if you want to visit the city but be in the country. I loved it. "
