"A very nice, clean hotel. We found the beds to be much harder than we like. The service at breakfast, although friendly, could be very slow. There was supposed to be some hot items like scrambled eggs and bacon, but they were usually cold and poorly replenished"

"This is THE place to stay! This piazza is the main place in the whole of Mantua, and you'll be right next to everything. I was charmed to find myself in a room the size of an apartment, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. I was less than charmed to find out that the Italian passion for saving energy meant that the washing machine and stove are turned off unless one stays for a month. I thought I was in a loft, but it turned out I could hear the people above me rearranging furniture until late each...

"Check in was quick but the attendant wasn’t friendly. We were looking for ice and all he had to say was - no ice. My room didn’t have a shower head, lacked a set of robes and slipper which I had made the staff aware. "

We loved the area with excellent parking right outside the hotel. "Nice hotel, great staff, just a stuffy smell in my room. I opened the window, but not much really changed. Left the room a couple of times and nothing changed. I assume it was related to the air system. I would consider staying again and give another try. "
