"The first night we stayed we would award top marks, but on or return 4 days later the second room was not as good. It was not as clean, the shower screen support was loose, the tv was hanging and not working properly. The furniture on the terrace was very dirty, we cleaned it before we could sit down. We were served a meal in our room, but thought that the dirty dishes would be removed, but they remained until we signed out"

"Sloping mattress on bed didn't help for a good night's sleep but the rest of the hotel is very nice. Breakfast particularly good with plenty of variety (almost too much)."

"10 mins walk from the town centre, free and easy secure parking. A very imposing house with history and character. Comfortable and quiet. Friendly staff. OK breakfast but pricey for EUR20. "
