"We came to Milazzo with the intention of taking the ferry to the islands, however, it rained, and we spent an unexpected and delightful stay in the city of Milazzo. The hotel is in an ideal location if you want to reach the ferry. We walked all the way to the top of the castle, which was amazing. The streets are lovely to stroll at night, well lit and very safe. "Large facility with nice amenities including parking, pool with a view of the sea, clean room with a sea view, and large breakfast bar and dining.Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great place to stay and relax after departing from ferry."

"Bright, and clean with large rooms. Solid breakfast and early, a decent dinner menu but the service was excellent. Pool is not heated, probably best for summer as we found it cold. Just up the hill from Lipari which was nice for ocean views while dining, and quietness. "

"We booked a stay in the junior suite (with jacuzzi), planning to stay in Milazzo for only two nights. But we loved the easy access to a clean beach, the super comfy canopy bed, the well functioning AC, the pleasant staff and good breakfast mix of sweet and savory (tilting in typical Italian fashion to the sweet). On the second day, we realized just how relaxed we felt at this hotel, so we decided to stay an extra two nights! It was well worth it. I came back from Italy feeling totally relaxed...

"The hotel looks brand new and it's located in a marina. The marina is gorgeous and has numerous dining options. You don't even need to go to town! Staff is nice and welcoming. The reception closes late evening and you will need to inform the hotel if you will arrive late. Security let me in with no issues. I'd definitely recommend the Sestante Hotel (By the way...this is not a motel as we know in America. It is definitely a very nice hotel)"
