"Lovely venue, great staff and super location. We had the Inner Sanctum Suite which was really well decorated. However, we both had a disrupted night due to how thin the walls are. The noise of the corridor and doors opening and closing transmitting into the room was disappointing. It really let the overall experience down. "

"Sadly, this property is starting to look tired back stage – nice in the reception, brasserie etc, but the bedrooms could do with an upgrade. Heating in our system was so noisy we turned it off, but then woke up in the middle of the night with the room temp at 24C (even in December!) Staff were mixed. Some like the front doorman, or the waiter in the brasseries (a local lad from the Wirral) were warm and friendly. Many though were curt at best and didn't look overly enamoured with their job....

"The hotel itself is fab can't fault it, however never having been to Manchester before, the surrounding area is awful and there is not much that we found locally to do. "
