"First time at a Pousada, though have stayed in Paradores in Spain. This is a very comfortable sprawling historic hotel with absolutely top-notch and genuinely friendly service, especially at meal times. Excellent food and lots of space inside the room and in common areas. The view over the city is lovely. Visitors need to know that it’s a pretty quick trip to the town and surrounding areas, but by no means a short walk. That makes this Pousada feel like a welcome getaway."

"Nice view, rooms are great but the services are not there. Probably under staffed and under trained teams, while super nice people, it was not the experience you expect at a 5 stars hotel. Also several area appear to be unfinished such as the outdoor pool, probably the worst. "

Staff are super friendly, breakfast/ restaurant is very acceptable and decent dishes, tea and scones are a must try. But not all is well here, with signs of decay or lack of maintain in and around the houses, including frayed bath robes, chipped countertops and wood panelings. "Super Hotel! Mooie ruime kamers, lekker bed. Goed eten en vriendelijke eigenaren. Mooie locatie. Lekkere Hottub in de tuin met uitzicht over de vallei. Enige jammere dat er geen glazen/bekers en waterkoker op de kamer aanwezig was."
