The beach is fabulous in rain or shine, wonderful views from sea front balcony. Cosy rooms, great pillows! Food and wine excellent. Fabulous local bus service (12A) and close to the airport via local taxi (or bus #12)."

"Loved staying at The Duke of Normandie! All staff friendly & efficient. Hotel very central. Slightly uphill from the main shopping street, the staff happy to tell you the short cuts! Amazing breakfast choice - on the full breakfast. And ate 2 delicious evening meals. Cosy single room was quiet & large enough - 3/4 bed, not a tiny single. Bathroom a bit small but suited me fine. Thank you to the bar man & reception team particularly Imelda, who looked after me (apologies if name not 100%...

"Great location lovely view of bay hotel was amazing only downfall at hotels was staff sometimes had to wait 10 to 20 minutes to get served at the bar and on check out nobody there to settle bar bill of £5.85 for a pint of beer and got email to say I'd left the property without paying lol if someone was there at reception i would have sorted my bill out but had to leave as taxi was waiting ✋️ 😀 "

"Fabulous hotel, lovely staff regardless of their role at the hotel. Conveniently 10 minutes taxi ride from airport. Room was outstanding and the shower/bathroom to die for. Gorgeous food, ate at hotel on three evenings and enjoyed the fresh fish on each occasion. Portions are big and it would be difficult to find better prepared food elsewhere on the Island. (We dined at the award winning La Nautique Restaurant on the 4th evening and it was on a par with that produced at La Barbarie) No.81 bust...
