"Everything was great until breakfast, which was absolutely awful. Dirty table which the waitress wiped with her hand, had to ask for our hot drinks 3 times, waited 10 minutes for the orange juice to be refilled, brought my partners scrambled egg and smoked salmon but not the toast ( asked again but still no delivery of toast). "We chose Leighton House because it had free onsite parking while still being walkable to the center of town. Room was great, very clean and spacious. Great shower. Breakfast was fantastic. Location was great for us - very quiet with little traffic going by, yet still only ~15 minute easy walk into the town, where we went for a spa visit and dinner. Overall, a great stay and I would highly recommend!"

"The property was outstanding from the room & bed to the Wi-Fi and freshly cooked breakfast. Fresh slices of cake were placed in the room daily, which was a lovely personal touch. The room also had smart TV with Netflix available. The owner was amazing with his knowledge and tips for the tourist attractions, eating out and local sites to see. We had laundry washed, folded and put back in room for a small fee. Would highly recommend this property, I doubt you could find better. "
