"The Standard is a very nice hotel with very attentive staff in a nice convenient part of London, essentially across the street from St Pancras Station! The hotel and the rooms themselves have a very modern/retro vibe. Nice lobby area with very comfortable seating and a fireplace! "

"Good hotel in a great area for walking around Hyde park or shopping along Oxford street. Lancaster gate tube station underneath was a real plus too. The prompt room service and tasty food that came with it was also a selling point. Only shortfall we found was the limited options for food choices at breakfast as two individuals with specific dietary requirements. Also cost for breakfast is a little exoensive so food out nearby is probably cheaper; we did this on two days over our stay."

"Everything was simply amazing. The room is clean, modern, and comfortable. Especially the view from the room was spectacular. However, the best thing was the staff. They were very accommodating, friendly, and gave the best service. Stayed here twice in one week because of the experience I had. "

"It was a nice trip for us. The room was very clean and felt more spacious than a standard room. The only bad thing was that there was no window. Especially in Shoreditch I would say Nobu is the best"
