"Ilmington is a charming village and it is still unspoilt by tourism and traffic. It is so bucolic as the sheep graze on the hills surrounding the village and the quiet of the night is worth the price of admission. We loved the Howard Arms. The Village room was spacious and had loads of history and beautiful features. Breakfasts were plentiful with good options. We will definitely stay here again if we return to this part of the Cotswolds."

Otherwise we walked around the most beautiful cottage area, it was peaceful, relaxing and the owners were very enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was very good. "

Breakfast was set in a stunning dining room, the attention to detail of the table setting was wonderful and very much enjoyed. "The cottage and the entire property are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The cottage is fully stocked with everything a guest may require. The fridge was stocked with milk, a pack of bacon, a pack of cheese and wine. Fruits and homemade marmalade were also left for us. All very thoughtful and welcoming. The only issue we had was with the WiFi which is very slow. We were told that internet connection in the entire area is slow and the providers are in...
