"When we arrived we found that we had booked the east side igloos that have to shower facilities & a long walk through the snow to get to a shared shower room. This was not what we were expecting for such expensive accommodation! Luckily we got help from a great guy named Anastasios who got us into the west side of the property with an upgrade to an igloo with great facilities, where we saw the northern lights! Thank you so much Anastasios for saving our bucket list trip from being a disaster!...

"The arrival by gondola was a pleasant surprise! Breakfast was excellent, sauna was hot & spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We also loved having a balcony, and saw the northern lights from the Sky Bar! 10/10 would stay here again"

"Lovely hotel close to all shops, restaurants and ski slopes. We really liked the private sauna in our room, which was well needed after a days ski. Hotel lobby and bar was also nice and welcoming. "

"We stayed in the family room with a sauna. It has a small kitchen as well. The shower leaked a bit but otherwise room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection. There were sleds around the property which guests could use. Close to a lit hiking trail around a lake and small ski resort. We skied at Pyha about 25 min away and saw the northern lights on our drive home late at night. Our family loved staying here. "

"This is a premium hotel, located atop a hill with amazing views, offering accommodations and a myriad of activities for both couples and families. We had a room with sauna which was well worth it after a cold day full of activities. We area arranged 6 activities via the hotel. Our favorites were day and evening snowmobiling, huskies and snowshoing. There also is a ski slop and tobogganing up hill from the hotel. Take advantage of those. "Overall nice stay! Buffet was delicious and probably the best buffet I have ever had. Rooms were very nice, especially if you’re lucky enough to have a sauna in your cabin. $40 credit for VIP membership didn’t do much. It was for public sauna or snow shoe rental only. "

"The Aurora pyramids was an amazing stay! It included free breakfast and dinner, free access to the Elves village, a sledding hill and reindeer farm (rides available as well). The area around it is very beautiful. Secluded and relaxing and short drive to Levi. Had lots of different areas for viewing the northern lights! Also we were able to see the northern lights from the glass pyramid! (Although you should go outside and look for them as you don’t know which direction they are) "

"Check in closes at 10.00.p.m. at a major tourist area. The plane with tourists from the capital, Helsinki, does not arrive at the closest airfield until 10.30.p.m. They need to consider this. The afterhours lockbox is situated outside. It was minus 25 Celsius and dark when we arrived. The lockboxes inside need two fingers for the metal buttons on either side. I still have peeling finger skin two weeks later from having to touch them. The lockbox should be situated in an inside lobby - very poor....
