"Grand Hotel Leveque offers the location you want and more! I can't wait to go back to Paris and would definitely stay at this hotel again. The suite was roomy - wish the bed was king instead of queen - but enjoyed that the TV was visible from the couch and the bed. But even better, is the street: Rue Cler is a market street with so many options - 2 produce markets, fromagerie, boulangerie, restaurants, close to Metro and bus, and fun to watch families racing to school in the morning. "Check in went smooth. The staff was nice and courteous and understood and spoke English well. The front is staffed 24 hours. The standard room and bathroom was small but I heard to be typical of the area. We were on the second floor at the end of the hall near the coffee lounge which was nice since I easily can get by coffee. They have a great coffee machine that gave really good espresso drinks.
