"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

"What a great find this was.... Originally I was looking for a nice hotel for the night as a little treat with my partner. Due to the Take That performing at Swansea.Com Stadium the same night. Hotel prices were sky high, nearly all had over doubled in price, some asking £400+. Than out of the blue I find this beauty..... Absolutely stunning views as far as the eye can see all round. Hot tub was amazing heated by a log burner. Comfortable seating area with a fire pit and bbq. The lake was massive...

Ceridwen Glamping, Double decker Bus and Yurts
2.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (2)
"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

Off The Grid Experience, Close To Nature, A Great Getaway, with great views
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (13)
"Was so looking forward to this off grid holiday. However left within twenty minutes just long enough to find and book a hotel. The cabin was filthy and stank to high heaven. I pulled back the throws to check the bed to discover filthy , clearly unchanged bedsheets which were urine stained. The roof clearly leaks in places and we saw two huge rats scurrying about in broad daylight. The "kitchen" consists of a filthy bowl and bucket half filled with rancid water, cooking is a one ring gas stove. A...

"If you are considering a trip to Wales, do not hesitate booking at stay here at "PLASNEWYDD". It was significantly more beautiful than the pictures in the listing. The house is warm, welcoming, and equipped with literally anything and everything you need to stay. You can tell that this is a HOME, not just a property put together for a rental. You will feel at home from the minute you walk in the door. Having breakfast in the conservatory, with the double doors open on that incredible view is...

Delightful chalet, overlooking estuary!
6.0 out of 10, (2)
"Five hours prior to our check in time our stay was cancelled by the host. The host had no knowledge of our booking until I inquired about access to the property on our arrival. I was then informed by the host that the accommodation was already occupied and I should not have been able to book it. Why did the host not know of our booking? Three disappointed children."
