Enclosed garden with sitting-out area. Bike store (shared). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. . This detached family holiday house is situated in the rural crofting township of Inverasdale, on the west coast of Scotland, offering views over the Loch Ewe and the open countryside. The area has so much to offer, including mountain and low level walking routes, dramatic seascapes and a variety of wildlife, with sea eagles, pine marten and otters being popular. Historic sites close by include Cove, which has a memorial stone for the Russian convoy fleet that sailed from Loch Ewe to Murmansk during World War II and Badachro, where the Fairy Lochs are a fabulous walk, and notable as the crash site of an American World War II bomber. Shop, pub and restaurant, 4 miles.

very pleasant stay
We had a wonderful week in Poolewe. The house provides everything you need, the kitchen is very well equipped. WLAN was perfect for us and our host Hannah was really nice and friendly. If you look for some quiet days in a wonderful location, I can absolutely recommend this house.

A lovely, clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage in a stunning location.
A lovely, clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage in a stunning location. We had the warmest of welcomes from Hannah, the owner, who regularly checked that we were ok with everything. We were surprised at how much there is to see and do in this beautiful area...i.e the gardens at Inverewe, Loch Ewe itself with its fascinating wartime history, plus lovely scenic walks and amazing wildlife. We were lucky to enjoy largely warm sunny weather during our 2week stay.
