"We stayed in Chania for our wedding anniversary at the Flair boutique in October. I can’t say enough about this hotel, staff, amenities and location. It is literally about a 3 minute walk to the beach and many restaurants and cafes. It’s about a 15 minute walk along the ocean to old town. The breakfast is amazing and the pool is heated with floor to ceiling windows of the ocean and unrestricted view of sunsets. All in all we would stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel."

"I ended up staying at Casa Modiano for over a week and was able to stay in several rooms. Room 5 with a couch was my favorite because it was a bit more spacious but all three rooms I had were lovely. Great decor, incredible location, delicious breakfast. Loved sitting on the balcony sipping wine, feeling the breeze off the ocean and writing. Near everything but one street removed from the waterfront noise. Much more charming. "

"We had an excellent stay at Porto Vecchio. The hotel itself is situated right in the old town about 2 streets back from the sea, in a pretty little corner on a lovely back street. As the old town is pedestrianised, we were dropped at the top of the main street by our taxi from the airport, 25 mins away, and had a short 5 min walk to the property. The reception is not manned at all times but someone was always at the end of the phone should you need any help and I believe, not far away either....

"My room had a beautiful view of the Ocean and the light house. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The Venetian harbor is at a short walking distance but the hotel is in a quiet area. Breakfast was one of the best of our trip. Overall and excellent hotel"

"The apartment was nice enough for a one week stay but the kitchen could use new pots and plates, etc. As the walls are thin you can hear every conversation going on. The floors are cleaned with a mop and water - no sweeping beforehand and no detergent used, we noticed. It’s 10 minutes to the beach on foot and 5 minutes to the bus stop."

"Located in beautiful old port historic area, a block from the water. Lots of restaurants, parks, shops within walking distance. Only draw back is road is pedestrian only and parking, when available, is 2 blocks away at public lot. If that lot is full, need to find somewhere on nearby roads. "

"Very clean room. Near bus station. If you want to take a bus out of town, it's right next to the property. Very convenient to take airport bus to and from airport. Walkable distant to old town and harbour and Chalidon street. Quiet at night. Can rest well after day out. Reasonable pricing. Friendly staff. "

"Fantastic location for young families that want to relax by the pool / pebbled beach. Lots of parking, good restaurant on site, and really friendly staff who arranged a baby cot and chair well before we checked in! Only thing is the rooms have a slightly dated decor. Very small tvs and old style coffee filter. Might benefit from a small upgrade to nespresso and slightly better entertainment system. But these are minor issues. If you have an ocean view suite, you can spend lots of happy hours on the balcony enjoying a book. Chania old town is also very close ."

"This is a charming lovely family run hotel. Everyone is amazing. The font desk with Melena -were so sweet and so helpful! Loved the room - the view- breakfast - the lovely beach and the wait staff that brought us April Spritz’s -it’s small - quaint and has a wonderful ambience that so enhanced our stay! We loved this hotel and would not only stay there again - but would highly recommend that you stay there as well! Margaret"

"Literally couldn't fault this wonderful hotel. Ultra friendly, helpful staff, so clean, convenient for local restaurants/supermarkets etc. It's a 30 minute taxi ride into Chania old town, although there are buses. Honestly, a perfect stay"

"Our stay at Isida hotel was wonderful, from the delicious food, friendly staff, great entertainment and very clean and well kept resort, we enjoyed every moment of it. Short walking distance the beach where you can rent jet skis and other water sports. Shopping, restaurants and rentals are all within walking distance from the hotel. Great location and very friendly staff, met all our needs. Will definitely return. "

"Spent 2 nights in Agia Marina which is very centrally located and close to the beach. 2 minute walk. Staff are lovely, kind and willing to help. Many restaurants available to choose from and very reasonable priced. Room was clean, spacious and had a nice terrace balcony. "

"Så fint hotell med otroligt fin service. Vänlighet och tillmötesgående i alla avseenden. Rent och snyggt och med allt man kan behöva ha. Så som diskmedel schampo och tvål . Jätte fin ren pool. Frukosten var alldeles lagom och de varierar den lite då och då. Möjlighet till beachclubs deal . Stranden endast ett par meter ifrån. Kan inte annat än längta tills nästa gång jag och min familj bor där igen . "
