We were only a 5 minute drive from La Fortuna for groceries, and any time we communicated with Marco, we received a prompt response."

"We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things."

"This was the perfect place except for the beds. They are like sleeping on concrete. Just beware. Beautiful on everything else. Too bad the owner skipped out on comfortable mattresses. Everyone complained about the beds. "

"This was a beautiful property, with birds flying all around and lots of nice places to relax - hammock swings, seating on patio, hot tub & bar, communal dining space. Note that the only indoor space are the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and all communal or spcializing space is outdoors. This would be a great place for two couples or a group. "We had a comfortable stay at Brisas del Volcan. The view of the volcano was perfect with morning coffee and the bird watching in the neighborhood was pretty great also. Town and shops were a short drive. We did not use the pool. "

"Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, we felt safe at all times with the gated community with a security officer checking all visitors before entering the premises. The layout of the house was cool and our grown up kids enjoyed the pool and open area of the house. Best part is definitely the location, it is close by to the town and just a bit far enough from the town center to avoid all the noise. Stay here for a great experience in La Fortuna."

Wonderful luxury stay for a couple!

"BAUMA was an excellent stay. The check-in was smooth and we were in easy contact with the virtual concierge in addition to the staff at the property. While there was an option for us to leave our bags with the on-site laundry room and staff before our check-in, the room was actually available earlier and we got to check in after confirming with the virtual team easily. The loft had thoughtful design and the hot tub was pre-heated upon arrival. The views from the balcony of the Arenal volcano were excellent, and highly recommend going up at dusk when you can hear the frogs in the distance and see some fireflies in the surrounding forest. Having the on-site parking made it super easy, and it's a short and safe walk into the nearby town for some great restaurants. Highly recommend staying here! "
