"The staff was wonderful - from the door to check in, room service, and every server at every restaurant. Genuinely kind and friendly people. The hotel itself is in various stages of upgrade, so some areas (like the restaurants) are really lovely and new. Our suite was quite old and located beyond a stairwell, which was nice and quiet, but also we navigated past some water-damaged walls and it just looked very brown/beige and dated. It was clean and had great water pressure and all that business, so we didn’t really care, but do keep in mind that they’re phasing in new and not everything is upgraded yet. If you book a “suite” at this time, that doesn’t automatically mean fancy! "
