Apartment Dorothea is located in the center of Albufeira and is located on the 1st floor. From your balcony with about 70m ² you have a sensational view of the sea and the old town of Albufeira. It only takes a few minutes to walk down the escalator and you're on the beach or in the old town. Like all of our apartments, this one also has satellite TV with all free German-language programs and Internet. Some of the rooms have air conditioning. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen and a large living room with dining area. You have a beautiful view of the beach and the sea from your living room, from your kitchen and from both bedrooms.


From 1 April 2023 the weekly rates include 1 intermediate cleaning per week. ( minimum booking 1 week )

The apartment is located in the Club Monaco with lots of independent apartments. At Club Monaco, there is a swimming pool with loungers available for free.

Excellent place to stay.
The apartment and views are stunning and second to none in the area. The owners are at your every need if required. The rooms are very spacious and has a lovely kitchen and huge balcony with 2 lots of tables and chairs. We had a lovely time and will plan to return. 10 out of 10.

Perfect location to enjoy Albufeira and the Algarvd
The view every day took our breath away, we were spoiled for nice restaurants in the area, quiet, beds were comfortable, lots of room so worth every euro. The only thing which would have made our stay perfect would be if there had been complete instructions, in English, for all the appliances and the TV. Also there should have been cleaning supplies which we had to buy (and leave).

Apartment with stunning views
Just returned from a 10 day stay at this fabulous apartment. Seems any negatives In previous reviews have been addressed. Comfy pillows/beds black out curtains and super quiet air conditioning in bedrooms means had a great night’s sleep. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and quality appliances so nice to prepare meals. We had use of the washing machine which came in handy as only took a carry on case, had been left washing powder, dishwasher tablets and liquid and essential loo rolls. Huge lounge/dining room beautifully presented that we did not actually use as the high light of this apartment is the wraparound balcony with its stunning views. We enjoyed eating or just sitting with a glass of wine. Some days preferred to sun bath there rather then go to the beach or pool. Could sit for hours watching the boats and people watching. The pool we had access to was clean and often had to ourselves. In the evening the town came alive and could listen to the music. Just a 5/10 minute walk down to beach and town(a little step on the way back) where we enjoyed eating at many of the restaurants. This apartment was perfectly suited for 2 couples, great to have the 2 large bedrooms with there own bathrooms. We did the kayak tour to the caves and off road buggy tour and jeep safari with wine tasting which can definitely recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a good time, the only negatives are that the property states it is 200 meters to the beach , by walking it would be at least 4 times that. There were no cleaning products, such as dish soap, dishwasher tablets, cleaning cloths and spays. The awning on rear did not work.

The apartment was very nicely appointed. Karin was on time meeting us. The view from the apartment of the sea was spectacular. Beautiful wrap around deck to enjoy the evening breeze and sunsets. Only down side to the apartment was no basic amenities (toilet paper/dish soap/paper towel) We did not realize that this was very much a party area of Portugal, not a bad thing, but just info. The beach was beautiful. Easy to get loungers. Price was reasonable. Elevators down to the beach were down for 3 days so must be able to walk the steep way down and back up again.

Beautiful view
The wrap around balcony was beautiful to stay out at night and listen to the music from the town or in the morning to have some coffee and even sunbathe in your privacy. Although the internet does not work properly on the balcony. They did not supply toilet paper, laundry soap or dishwashing soap. The beds were quite hard and the pillows were the worst ever. The sulfur smell from the bathrooms were bad at times as well. Overall, if it wasn't for the magnificent view I would have not enjoyed this condo, but the view made up for the other things...Great area to go down to eat and a little shopping. Everyone speaks English and all the cave and dolphin sight seeing was amazing. the weather was hot and beach was beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment has a great location and tremendous view of the Old Town and Beach. Hostess and owner were super easy to work with and very helpful with any issues. The only issue is no WIFI connectivity on the deck which is a shame since we'd often sit on the deck but were unable to get online.

Amazing 3 week stay
We stayed here for 3 weeks over Christmas & new year. On arrival we were met by Alexander, who was very helpful showing us around the property, and very kindly left us a welcome bottle of Portuguese Green wine. This property is all you could ever ask for with stunning views over Fishermans Beach from the wrap around balcony. We found it very hard to leave and cannot wait to return later this year. The property is not serviced so you need to launder your own linen as and when required, this was not a problem to us as the facilities are all good quality appliances. Great little Spar walking distance away and Lidl & Aldi are a 5 minute drive away. A 10 minute stroll to the beach and restaurants etc, makes this an excellent place to stay.

Wonderful experience!!!
Four of us (2 couples) travelled here and I can't say enough about this place, it was amazing. Location excellent, clean, large and comfortable. View from the wrap around extra large terrace could not be better, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine and cheese! Access to the beach and restaurants, excellent. Communication with Karin top notch and quick. If you're a beach lounger bring your own beach towel. Would definitely be back!

Absaloutly stunning everything you need and more comfortable and clean there was some renovation work going on but we never noticed only thing that we could criticise were lack of English tv but we were on holliday and spent most of our time out or on the fantastic balcony the views are stunning especially at night ,this apartment can be rented long term which is something we are seriously considering overall a fantastic stay in a beutifull part of albufiera hopefully we will be back soon thank you Karin and allexander

This accommodation is beautiful in the complex of Clube Do Monaco, the flat is as good as the pictures, there is also a pool which we didn't make use of but it looked very nice. We spent two weeks here and we did not want to leave. Communication with Karin and Alex the managers was excellent from the first enquiry to the end of our stay, they also kindly arranged our car parking which I would recommend as space is limited, there is a charge as you would expect but it is worth it. The view from the large balcony is just stunning and this is where we spent a great deal of time relaxing enjoying our meals and the view of the sea, the old town of Albufeira by day and by night. The town does come alive at night as you would expect when choosing the location as other reviews have mentioned, we did wonder in July & August if this would be a problem but it wasn't at all, you can hear the fun of the town from a distance and once in doors you can shut it out if you want to. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance of the apartment with a Spar just up the road for the essentials. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners by chance which was a lovely encounter, we would highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you Alex, Karin, Margaret and Manfred for making our stay perfect until next time 😃

Best Flat, Best Location & Best Sleep!
We could not be any happier with our choice to say at Clube do Monaco! Karin & Alexender are lovely and accommodating. The flat was absolutely lovely and clean and much bigger than you see in the photos. The wrap around deck is huge and we loved eating our meals on the deck overlooking the sea and Albufeira's center. We enjoyed preparing our breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack in the top-of-the-line fully-equipped gourmet kitchen. The best part of the furnished home was the ultra cozy beds. I don't think I've ever slept so well on vacation before. We were so comfortable and happy with the home that we wished we stayed an extra week. The location could not be more perfect. It's an easy 5-minute walk down the hill and the escalators that lead to the beach with wonderful shops and delicious restaurants. It's closely located to a small local grocery store that provided everything we needed until we were able to go to the larger Pingo Doce store. Karin and Alexander set us up with a rental car and made it so easy. The Algarve is really easy to get around so it was fun to go visit other locations. We quickly decided that we loved Albufeira the best because it offered the old architecture mixed with the new, hundreds of great restaurants all within walking distance, and it's also super fun, lively, and we felt very safe at night. The best part was having a very long stretch of stunning beach that we walked every day. We never used the pool but it was lovely and inviting as well. This was one of the best family vacations we've ever had and we appreciate the kindness and communication from our hosts, and absolutely loved having the use of their beautiful, well-maintained flat in such a stunning location. Thank you!

Perfect!!
Spent a week here and everything in the apartment was perfect. Everything worked and loads of crockery and cutlery. The view is amazing and the whole area was lovely and quite. The hosts could not do enough and sorted a taxi for us to and from the apartment. Will be returning!!

Spectacular View
What a spectacular view from this apartment. Nicely decorated, with a well appointed kitchen. Easy walk to the old town with numerous restaurants and bars. Really nice beach with good swimming. Alexander was prompt in meeting us and very pleasant. Just be warned that the music and noise from the old city do find their way to the outdoor deck at night, though you can close the door and shut it all out. Would stay here again if we come back to Albufeira. Highly recommended.

A very comfortable, clean, well-appointed apartment with a fantastic balcony in a lovely location.
We truly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was modern and very well equipped and there was a large living room. The balcony was L-shaped and was such a generous size with comfortable seating, we spent most of our time there enjoying the views of the old town and the beach. The apartment was ideally located for trips to the beach, and there were shops, bars and restaurants close by. We would definitely recommend this apartment for a relaxing holiday.
