Alcester Inn

3.5 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (244)
"This is not a smart pub, it’s a cheap and cheerful place to stay which was just what I needed for a working trip. Room was clean and comfortable, basic but everything I needed. Restaurant had a reasonable choice and the food was ok rather than fantastic but with main courses at around a tenner and a glass of wine for less than a fiver I am certainly not complaining. Would I go there again? Absolutely, excellent value for money and the staff were friendly and helpful. No airs abd graces here,...

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (108)
"Lovely place to stay, room nicely appointed, staff friendly and helpful and set in tranquil location with ample grounds. Restaurant and bar area, including outdoor dining space also very nice and make the most of the old converted water mill building. Did not eat on this occasion but did a few months ago but from what I saw, nothing has changed and it would not disappoint. All in all will definitely return either to stay or just to dine."

"An excellent family weekend to celebrate an 80th birthday. Lovely comfy beds. Good to have two dishwashers. Tumble drier not terribly efficient so a clothes maiden would have been helpful. Overall, a lovely stay."
