"8 adults stayed here we had plenty of space and really enjoyed the house. The town of Alexandria was very cute, most things were closing for the season but we did still get to experience the boat tour, do some shopping and eat at a few local places. We also traveled to the next town over for the pumpkin chunkin festival which was a lot of fun. Thanks to Bob for recommending this! "

"Captain Thompson's resort is an outstanding resort. It has the best location of any in Alex Bay. It is within walking distance of everything. The view of the river and Bolt Castle in units on the main channel is second to none. The staff was very helpful and professional. The manager, Lisa, was exceptional! We plan to be a regular visitor every year."

"It is a beautiful, well maintained, thoughtfully updated home. Had everything we could possibly need and the furniture and beds were all high end and comfortable. Slept like a baby the whole trip. The views are incredible and the kids and grownups all loved calling out BIG SHIP! every time a BIG SHIP! came past. The neighborhood was quiet and welcoming and there are nearby restaurants and grocery stores, but not at all a bustling feel. It’s an awesome place. Easy to find and prompt, friendly, efficient communication from the host! We will return. "
