"AWESOME EXPERIENCE. Everyone - front office, housekeeping, F&B, & the spa - were exceptional with services par excellence. Rishnati qt front desk was OUTSTANDING, along with Nadan. Buffet breakfast and dinner were superb. Very scenic location - interiors are very beautiful. Highly recommended!"

"The Grand Argyle Resort & Villas was a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! I would recommend this hotel to others! "

"+++ Absolutely magnificent place with a wonderful history. The wooden features are beautiful and the bedrooms are outstanding. Wonderful snooker table and fireplaces. "The staff were great, super friendly and we were made to feel comfortable straight away with a fresh hot face towel and a cup of tea, even got a free welcome head massage. Everyone was helpful with places to go as well as recommendations for the next stop of our trip. Your also next to the Grand Hotel opposite Victoria park so location is great but the thing letting the hotel down was the building needs a refurb. Bathroom door didn't shut as the wood had bowed, paint on the walls and ceiling...

"The staff put us in 2 different rooms for 2 nights, the first one needs lots of repair, eg. Telephone not working, smelly bathroom. Electricity and water stopped many times. The breakfast buffet is so so, the local coffee tastes blank."

Serene spot in Kandy

"The hotel was clean and well furnished. We had a balcony room which had fabulous view of the river, a great place for watching nature around you. It was very peaceful. The pool area is good with separate pool for toddlers. This also overlooks the river. The staff were excellent. All polite and helpful which you find a lot in Sri Lanka. The restaurant was buffet style and food good quality. We had an excellent 2 nights in Kandy. Hotel situated short distance from Town centre, uphill. Just a short ride in tuk tuk."
