"Warm welcome from the member of staff on duty, good-sized room with very comfy bed and an excellent en suite bathroom. Own n’espresso coffee machine provided, plus complimentary bottled water and fresh milk for hot drinks. Evening meal in the pub below was very tasty and the scrambled eggs I had at breakfast were possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. The only downside was the lack of heating in my room until 6pm on a day when the outside temp was below freezing and I had checked in at about 4.30pm (ie after dark). Other than that, a good find and happy to recommend."

"We are just back from a two nights break at the ‘Derwent Manor Hotel’ celebrating three birthdays and we were completely blown away from the start to the finish. Debbie and Natalie who made us so welcome on arrival. There was eleven of us in the group and everyone was blown away with the quality of their rooms along with the quality of the food and service that we received both at dinner time and breakfast time. We all agreed that we’d had a great weekend and took our hats off to the staff that looked after us. None of us found a single fault with the weekend break and we will definitely look to book there again in the future as there is so much to do and see in the area. Thank you to management and staff for taking care of us."
