"We visited Halstatt over the Christmas holiday and fell in love with this gem of a town. While it is a bit overrun with tourists at this time of year, Halstatt Hideaway is set above the hustle and bustle and always offered a quiet escape. "Absolutely amazing apartment in a fabulous location just a short walk to the station old town and everywhere else we wanted to visit. The hotel / apartments totally exceeded all our expectations and every single staff member went out of their way to help and ensure our stay was smooth and stress free. "The property and room were fine, but due to the summer weather, we needed to keep the windows open for airflow. Unfortunately, our room faced the street, and it was a very busy street with traffic noice all night. For a future stay, I would request a room that is not street facing to minimize noice level."

"Die Wohnung ist sehr gelungen, Ausstattung top, sogar Kaffeebohnen, Gewürze und Öle waren vorhanden. Wir waren zu sechst unterwegs und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der einzige Minuspunkt ist die Lage an der Hauptverkehrsstraße, dadurch war es nachts bei offenem Fenster recht laut. Aber dafür ist eine tolle Bäckerei für die Frühstücksbrötchen direkt grgenüber."

Only a 5-minute walk (I walk fast) to the MPreis supermarket, and a few minutes more to the centre of Söll. Söll is a great choice in itself, but also for exploring the spectacular surrounding area - Scheffau, Ellmau, Going, St. Johann, Kitzbühel, Westendorf, the Wildschönau….."

Great stay

"Great stay. Reception staff very friendly and professional. Hotel was very clean and had a lovely smell when you entered through the doors. Very comfortable bed. Only downside and this is the same with all European hotels, only English speaking channels on the TV are the news. Hotel is very convenient for the train station and is only a short walk in to the old town. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if i return to Salzburg "
