"Willieman is a beautiful village. The accommodation was clean with enough space for 5. The owners were fantastic, superbly accommodating with food after the restaurant had closed and with a lovely breakfast. "Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. "Very handy and good value spot for a stopover on the way to or from Calais. Loads of great restaurants next door and many offer 10% discount if you show your room key card. A good free breakfast is included 6-10AM and nice enough (if a little dated) rooms for one night many with a bath. I had a big suite which was very spacious. Nice and warm in the room and very comfy beds and bedding. They look to be installing several fast EV charging points in the car park too which is great."
