This affordable rental's location at the base of Chair 3 at Alyeska Resort allows you to walk to the lifts for superb skiing and boarding in the winter or to the tram for rides in the summer. The Crow Pass, Iditarod, or Winner Creek Trails are nearby for hikes into Chugach National Forest and surrounding glaciers. Dining is just steps from your door at Jack Sprat, Sitzmark, The Bake Shop, and La Bodega. You simply cannot beat this location!

Compact place to crash.
The condo is about 14' x 15' including the restroom. There is a sump pump below the floor that turns on every four minutes runs for five seconds and then turns off, which was rather annoying. This is the first place I stayed that didn’t have a microwave. There was a nice collection of pans and dishesfor cooking on the electric stove though. The address was almost useless for finding the parking lot.

I like the easy check-in process. I didnt have to interact with anyone, lol. It's cozy and you still get the vibe that you are on vacation. My only problem is that it was a little hard to spot the building numbers.

Very convenient for hiking in girdwood. Location amazing. Parking is great. Extremely clean everything works. Great shower. Nice TV and wifi. Needs a microwave. In the morning upstairs waterpipes in wall are very noisy.

Great location.
Girdwood/Alyeska is beautiful. This location was in the middle of all the things we planned for the weekend. Slightly disappointed with the condo. None of the electrical outlets were secure and none of our chargers would stay plugged in to charge phones. Also wish there was a microwave.

Positive comment: Found efficiency apartment as in the pictures and description and clean and in quiet, convenient area! NEGATIVE comments: Broken window latch (not worth locking unit when person could easily slip in, and hole in screen for normal AK insects to enter), No Hairdryer, No mini microwave, and NO coffee pot. For 150$+/Night, A “safe” unit necessary, a coffee pot, hairdryer and small microwave SHOULD be an expected standard. I would remove this rental immediately as option till these basic options remediated.

Two single mats in the loft were super comfy, futon on the bottom needs to be a queen or even king mattress though. Please change it, that was seriously our only issue. Loved the space, the tub, the kitchenette, etc.

Overall this properly was advertised as such, a good reasonably priced place particularly for location. There were no curtains on the windows which I was unsure as to why. Directions to which lot to park in would have helped but I was also exhausted when I showed up so it's possible I wasn't reading it correctly. Thanks!
