"The place was well looked after, but not close to town. The staff were great. Only complaint would be the breakfast was not a buffet. You had to order it the day before. This is not a reflection of the hotel but a lot of monkeys. Do not leave anything outside. My aunt had a top and make up bag stolen. They can open doors as well. "The hotel is just out of the hussle and bustle of Kandy city - about a 15min Tuktuk ride. Perfect to see all the sights in and around Kandy and then come back and relax in peace and quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the owner arranged trips and drivers in and around the Kandy area. The food is was amazing particularly Hassida's vegetable curry! "

"The appartement is great especially the view! It was really clean and spacious! Plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. They were also flexible on our check out date which was really appreciated. However, the address indicated on vrbo is not correct. This complicated our check in because we went to the wrong location at first. The appartement is a bit remote, up a hill on the south side of the lake which complicated transportation."

"We only had one night in Kandy on this trip. The Radh is positioned within a couple of minutes walk of the sacred tooth temple and so was ideal. The staff were all very.pleasent and helpful, right from check-in until we checked out. The rooms and facilities were great. Shame we didnt have longer to enjoy this wonderful hotel. "

Wish we had stayed longer…….

"My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. We can’t recommend this home too much. It certainly felt like we were at home. The room was so clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom spotless. Our room was well appointed, entered via its own garden. We had special views across the whole valley. We hooked up to the Wi-Fi and looked for things to do but our host knew all the good things to do, he even organized a TukTuk tour with a local guide. Our tour was fantastic and such a great price. We took breakfast had delicious home cooked roti with coconut salad and chutney along with eggs and fruit. On the first night we ventured into the city for dinner and on the second night we stayed local. Both restaurants were good. The local shops were terrific, selling local fresh food. We moved on to South but wished we had stayed longer."

"The hotel was clean and well furnished. We had a balcony room which had fabulous view of the river, a great place for watching nature around you. It was very peaceful. The pool area is good with separate pool for toddlers. This also overlooks the river. The staff were excellent. All polite and helpful which you find a lot in Sri Lanka. The restaurant was buffet style and food good quality. We had an excellent 2 nights in Kandy. Hotel situated short distance from Town centre, uphill. Just a short ride in tuk tuk."
