"This would have been a great stay but the management did not say that there was a lot of construction being done on the hotel. My wife and I walked to our room to find a bunch of workers in most of the rooms. This was very unsettling because they were in every room but ours and it was a mess. "We had a great weekend in False River! For most of us, it was our first experience at an LSU game and needed a good place/location for the game. Ma Mamma’s is a great place for evening meal. Great food and perfect place to take a big group or just your special someone. The house was clean, spacious and provided everything and more for our group. I would definitely recommend this place for a great stay. Great communication by the owner too!!"

"We had a great stay at this camp. The hosts are great, and the property is nothing less then what is in the description. Me and my husband had a great few days here just relaxing and doing some fishing. If you bring a boat I would highly recommend going launch the boat before you pull up at the property, because the driveway is extremely rough and steep.
