"Love staying at the Pontchartrain Hotel. We have made this our regular spot when we visit NOLA. The area is beautiful with so many places to see and to eat. The Tin Roof bar on the roof is fantastic with a spectacular view, and cafe and restaurant in the hotel are very good. We walk through the garden district every morning and evening and love that the streetcar stops right in front of the hotel. It’s just a short ride (or $10 Lyft/uber) to the French quarter. "The facilities were good but when the shower knob/lever can't stay in place and turns the water temperature super hot in the middle of bathing, it becomes quite a burden covered in soap. Some things seemed outdated otherwise it was an accepted short stay. The breakfast did make up for it as it was hot, fresh, and enough to have my fill."

"Huge room at a great price during a weekday. Heater kicked off within seconds, so check yours out quickly. Plenty of free parking available. We are not gamblers, so didn't even visit the casino, but did make the 5 minute drive into downtown. I would not hesitate to stay here again"

"Brandon Hall is a gem! If you want to travel in the past, Brandon Hall is your place! I definitely recommend to stay there and ask the owner to give you a tour, she's passionate and knows a lot about the place and the Brandon family."
