"I loved the property and how it was set up. A few tiny things niggled me. The jacuzzi bath didn't have a stopper so couldnt use it as a bath. The shower wasnt cleaned properly, there was hairs all over. No other plugs for international guests. Some of the lights didnt work."

"Our stay at Sapodilla cottage was lovely, relaxing, and hands down the best vacation I've experienced. When we arrived the host had stocked a starter amount of food so we didn't have to go in search of a grocery after our flight and drive. "This was a super well run holiday property, with great communication throughout and the property itself was extremely well kitted out and looked after. Our family had great fun using the new air fryer and a big thanks for getting in a smoothie blender. We do like to cook and found the kitchen really well provided for. It's located fairly centrally on the island, so nothing is too far away, although I would recommend getting a rental car to make the most of your time on the island. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly, though, and can arrange for taxis if you require. "The manager/owner, Hopal, lives on site and is very helpful. We accidently left our lights on in our car and ran the battery down, Hopal with the help of the neighbors got us a jump. The accomidations were clean, decorated well, full kitchen with cookware and bathroom with various shampoos and lotions. There was also a welcome basket with cookies, crackers, coffee, teas and candies. It made our stay very comfortable. We would stay here again."

"This remote, beachfront hotel is great if you want solitude and peace and quiet. The beach itself is OK but there was a lot of debris. The apartment was clean, tidy, but not well equipped for everyday cooking. We had to buy quite a lot of kitchen equipment. Neil and the staff were very helpful. Although there are 2 restaurants within walking distance they are not always open and you need to book in advance. I would recommend a car, if staying here, so that you can shop for supplies and explore...

"Place was probably pretty nice 10 years ago. It is in need of some updating especially the hideabed couch in Room 2. It was absolutely the most uncomfortable couch ever The bed was good. Bathroom and bedroom are upstairs. It would be nice if they had blackout curtains for the window on the stairs. The house behind the hotel has 6 floodlights that flash on and off all night. This makes it difficult for sleeping. There are small ants so make sure if you have any food on the counters you put it in...

"I have stayed here on 3 different occasions. Love the property, the experience and the friendliness of the staff! They are terrific! The food is absolutely wonderful! Rooms could do with a little updating/remodeling. But most of the time you’re out anyway. I would def recommend as well as stay again?"
