Lovely staff and a great breakfast. Beautiful grounds and garden and easy access to the beach. Red Castle is a must see. Trout fishing on the river Lunan. Dog friendly.

We really loved our time at Lunan House. It’s steeped in history and the staff will happily share what they know. The grounds/ gardens are beautiful. The beach with caves and castle ruins is a few minutes walk away. It was a lovely place to recharge in the middle of our trip. Breakfast was great but dinner options were more limited.

Wow! Where to start..? What a stunning place to stay! I wish we had stayed longer! The welcome was lovely our room was amazing! Absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was so good, typically Scottish & a real treat! We went to the sea at Lunan Bay which is literally a 5min drive past the property - this area was gorgeous. Huge sand dunes but a beautiful stretch of beach, peaceful and calm. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Full breakfast included. We stayed a second night because we were so blown away by the beautiful place and the area. The beach is peaceful and a nice easy walk to the remnants ofthe red castle. Elaine is a sweetie and Aiden too and the kitchen staff were also and gave us ideas local places to see.

We stayed here overnight after attending an event nearby. The hotel has a lovely situation within walking distance of Lunan Bay, the staff were friendly and the accommodation very comfortable. I would certainly stay here again.
