"Very nice place. Can fit a large group. Definately feel you are in the rain forest while having modern amenities. Has everything you need. Close to the hot springs and not far from town. Have to be ok with occasional small lizards and small bugs in the house but that is an authentic rain forest. The italian place near by has good pizza."

"Gorgeous tent and outdoor space, unbelievable views, great outdoor shower, hot tub worked well and appreciated that they had a dehumidifier and heater in the tent. The property itself has such amazing views of the sunset, and we were a 30 sec walk from our dinner at San Lucas which was great! Also loved the wide variety of free snacks and the kitchen. "We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment at the back of the property on the second floor. The room was updated and clean. Walking distance to restaurants. It is attached to a convenience store for beer, snacks and alcohol. Pool was clean. Also has a whole bar area that you can leverage by the pool. Property can be a little noisy in the morning when everyone is going to work since it is located directly on the main road to La Fortuna."

"Our family of 5 enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The raging river so close to our balcony was impressive after a few days of heavy rain. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and we had plenty of space for 5. A couple of minor issues being advertised washer/dryer was actually a paid laundry service and pillow menu did not exist when requested although advertised. "

"Wow what a great place to stay for a night or a month or longer. The place has all you will need to have a fantastic stay. Small kitchen to prepare your own meals if you so choose, dining table to have coffee at and eat. Comfy bed. Was all we needed and more than we expected for the price we paid. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever near Monteverde again. This place I’d perfecto."

"Location is great. Facilities are great. Front desk great. Felt that hot water did not last sufficiently long for a family of 4. Had golf cart parked on our parking space and when we tried driving around it to get to our unit we scratched car on the hedges which is unfortunate as it is a rental car. Some issues with bugs getting into the house which we had to remove as one of the members in our family was bug phobic. "

"The property and the house were amazing! Spectacular view of Arenal from our balcony, nice pool, well stocked kitchen, and nice trails and view points on property. A short drive into La Fortuna and all the local attractions. Brayan the host was amazing. When I asked he provided local recommendations for attractions. He restocked or kitchen with more tea and coffee when we needed it. Most notably Brayan went above and beyond with a special request for Valentine's flowers."

"Lovely and large cabana with kitchen, table, etc. the staff was impeccable in taking care. Unfortunately the wifi is yo-yo like and we had no hot water due to a malfunction. It took a few days to rectify and then we got warm water. "

"My husband and I went here for our Anniversary and we were not disappointed. Everyone from Patrick, his wife, the housekeeper made us feel welcome. The drivers were like family by the end of the day, Miguel and Luis are the best! Patrick was a great help suggesting and helping plan our tours. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy yourself."

10 Hot Spring Pools

"Great 10 Hot Spring pools! View from room was spectacular; but the walls between rooms was paper thin and if our bathroom door wasn't closed, we could hear our neighbors. This was also true with the shower...could not take a shower when our neighbors were due to lack of hot water. Good restaurant, excellent breakfast and VERY pleasant dining room. Plenty of fresh drinking water available. Nice walking around resort. Beautiful spa overlooking the river. Birds, flowering plants and iguanas abundant. Hope the hotel reception can replace their area rug soon...dirty and falling apart. Sushi bar and pool were outstanding for a smaller meal. Happy hours 4-5 and 5-6! Yes, highly recommend the resort. Don't be surprised by the gravel road that takes you there..."

"Simply the Best. Personalized service meets paradise at Nayara. The facilities are in keeping with the natural beauty of the rainforest giving a feeling of complete serenity. Aesthetically pleasing and functional, restaurants overlook the volcano, the pools are surrounded by lushness. Have never experienced such a high level of service anywhere. Rooms are spacious and well appointed offering every convenience: outdoor hot spring pool, double indoor and outdoor showers, canopy beds with mosquito nets (not necessary but very romantic), fruits and flowers changed daily, kettle, coffee machine, areas are well lit with enough space for storage. Swimming pools and hot springs are dotted throughout the property. The quality of food is of a high level and everything was prepared to our specifications. Special mention to Manuel at the front desk who made our stay, Erick our server at Ayla a great human, went the extra mile, and Daniel our driver who was so patient and informative, he made our long transit a complete joy. Can't wait to return."
