Arizona Science Center

Located in the heart of the city in the Heritage and Science Park, the Arizona Science Center is the place where science and fun collide! In addition, there are plenty of daily live demonstrations that capture the imagination and stimulate the senses. Challenge each other to lie on a bed of 1,000 nails or see who can build the best electric circuit. There is even an exhibit that will teach children about the importance of budgeting their pocket money!Journey deep into the human body in the All About Me exhibit. Engage your senses of sight, smell and sound as you investigate the inner workings of your digestive tract. Watch heart surgery being performed before hearing your own heartbeat played out on a bass drum.From here, head to the bright lights of the W.O.N.D.E.R Center. Delve into the human brain and learn about neuroscience, anatomy and thought patterns. Exercise your brain and body at the SkyCycle. This is an exciting and challenging exhibit that is designed to test your balancing skills. A 27 metre-long tightrope is suspended 4.5 metres up in the air – all you have to do is make it from one end to the other without falling off. Simple!Explore scientific labs and learn all about sustainable energy in the Solarville Exhibit before heading to the Immersion Theater to experience the full force of a hurricane, monsoon and even a volcano. At the Planetarium, hurtle through earth, space and time as you explore the wonders of the galaxy.Finally, grab a bite to eat in the centre’s café before strapping into your seat for the 3D ride of a lifetime at the state-of-the-art IMAX cinema.
