"This is a lovely hotel, well located in Paris. It has a couple of odd elements, basically since it was created in a former "hôtel particulier", i.e., a private home of a wealthy family, or at least I presume so. My room (beautifully renovated inside) was on the 2nd floor, up a narrow winding staircase. I presume it was originally part of the servants' quarters, across a small courtyard from the reception area. This was ok for me, but if a potential client were disabled in any way, climbing those...

Two things to be aware of that we found odd: 1) They want you to pay for your stay up front, as soon as you arrive, without seeing the room. 2) They ask that you leave your room card key at the front desk when you leave, “for security reasons”.
