"We had a great stay at the Cozy Inn, Otaru. Building is very well laid out, and rooms were fairly sizeable, new and clean. There isn't much of a common area, or kitchen etc but that's fine as there is lots in the area. Staff was super friendly and helpful, it's one of those properties we wish we would have stayed longer."

"We used Otaru as a base for skiing to Sapporo Teine and Kiroro. Good location for Otaru activities and restaurants. A warning to people that snow is not removed for sidewalks and makes walking terrible especially if you don’t have snow boots. Some people wear ice spikes that help."

"A quiet and peaceful hotel that has modern vibes. There is a free wine hour at the bar that I was able to get. It was really nice to hang out and have a glass of wine to wind down after venturing around and exploring. I also received a free drink ticket. The drinks were limited but I still appreciated getting this "VIP" experience. I loved the vibes of the hotel and my room was very nice. "

"The 2 bedroom apartment is very spacious, well equipped and clean. Also love the public onsen and easy access to the ski trails. The only thing to complain is the limited selection of food and grocery supplies near the hotel (no convenience stores and lack of dinner choices except hotel restaurant which is just average or 30 minutes drive to Otaru city). But overall still a good bargain at low season. Not sure about prices in high ski season though."

"The hotel is conveniently located just around the corner from Kotoni station, which is just very close to Sapporo station. When we arrived, my friends asked for a recommendation for a place for lumch and the front desk staff gave a really good recommendation just 3 mins away from the hotel. Also they put our luggage in our room while we had lunch. There's a 7eleven nearby and also a lot of izakayas and restaurants around so you won't run out options for late night snacks. "Twin room was small and AC was too hot and I couldnt switch it off so lucky I could open the window to the -7c outside! Location was about 10 min walk from main rail station. Also about 25 min walk from Odori park and Suskino areas. Could barely fit one suitcase in the room, and that was only by putting it on the desk and restong it on chair edge."

"The staff was very professional and accommodating in every way. They went out of their way to assist in helping park my car. They were also kind enough to let us know that due to the number of individuals staying at the hotel. It would be a good idea to come earlier for breakfast, Doing the saved us a lot of time, as we left we noted the large number of folks queuing for food. The interior of the hotel is a bit older, there was construction going on during the core hours of the working day, and certain items in the room did not work like the radio that’s built into the bed. I’m not sure if this is simply due to the age of the item or the functional operational abilities. Overall, it was a great place for a quick stay in the city. "

"The hotel staff was accommodating and let us store our luggage in between of two legs of stays since we traveled to a different city for one night. The room was spacious for one person. The furnishing was a bit dated but the room was clean. Need to keep the AC on to keep warm. Close to the Odori station with convenience stores and great food nearby."
