The house is located directly on the 8km long lake Överrissjö and is easily accessible summer and winter with any passenger car or motorhome. The lake is directly accessible from the house via a 100m long meadow path. A private rowing boat is available. Also a raft (powered by an e-motor) may be used.
The sauna is located next to the house and has a wonderful view of the lake. It is heated with wood. A garden house with table and 4 chairs and 2 deckchairs invites you to linger in summer.
In addition to the house also 1-2 campers could be parked.

The house is supplied with electricity, water and sewage via the municipal grid. The winter-proof house is heated by the central heating with geothermal heat pump. Hot water also generates the geothermal heat pump.

In the winter months, northern lights can often be observed and photographed directly from the house.

- Björnlandet National Park (30 minutes by car). Shorter and longer, well marked and maintained trails.
- Stockholmsgata nature reserve (15 minutes by car) with vertical steep slopes and large moraine holes.
- Vitterhuset (15 minutes by car): rock formations, giant boulders, children's climbing trail, hiking trail,
Barbecue on the lake, summer concerts

Lomsö: cave paintings that are 5000 years old.
Offerhällen: old burial place of the Sami. Hiking trail with wonderful views.
Museum of local history in Asele (open-air museum with log cabins and exhibitions)
Asele Markt: The biggest folk festival in Norrland on 3. Weekend in July

Riverrafting (can be booked at the tourist office)
The Överrissjö is very good for fishing (boat available)
You can swim in all the surrounding lakes.
