"Pros & Cons - overall, a good place to stay. Note to future travelers - scan the welcome QR Code *FIRST!* Hot water is on a timer, with a (semi-functional) "boost" button should you need hot water not during the "on" hours (hint: you will need to use it, if you want a hot shower; we never did figure out what the optimal time would have been). If you have 5 travelers, and you tell the landlord, you will still need to set up the sofa bed on your own when you arrive. Linens are in a storage area...

"Stayed here for a week while moving between properties. The apartment is located perfectly in the centre of St. Alban's, ideal for access to all local attractions. It is nice and spacious inside - and very reasonably priced. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries which was much appreciated.However there were 1 or 2 dissappitning issues - some that could be improved and others that are inherent limitations with the property. Firstly the property was very difficult to keep...

"Location was great... Management was horrible! Their advertisement falsely stated that there was laundry on the property. The apartment smelled of sewage. The window ledge fell on my foot, twice. For a seven days stay, they gave me two towels. I had to go out and purchase more toilet tissue, trash bags, and paper towels. House keeping came and bought air freshner for the sewage smell and that was it. I wouldn't recommend this place to a homeless person... Absolutely horrible... "

"Lovely modern apartment with views of Windsor Castle. Parking for car was a 2 min walk away safe behind gated residence. Short walk into town with lots of restaurants. Short family stay was really relaxing. "

"Space is nice and worked well for our family. Only complaint was arriving at night wasn’t ideal as the front gate area had a homeless person hanging around. Once we entered the gate, the walkway smelled like someone had just urinated. It didn’t give the best first impression. Getting the key wasn’t hard, just cumbersome as there isn’t a front desk person to assist. "

"I was disappointed in the area, was expecting it to be nicer since it is so close to the airport. Finding buses, train etc was good. The accommodations was not as expected as advertised on the website. Communication with the rental office is only by email."

"The bathroom could’ve been a bit more clean but the staff was very helpful and friendly - had a layover in London and this hotel was very close to LHR (Heathrow) so it was convenient but their restaurant closed super early so we had to dine at the restaurant inside the Sheraton hotel "

"We booked this hotel for a layover flight. It was convenient to stay right in the terminal for a morning flight. Direct trains to the center of London can be accessed from near the hotel in the terminal which made it easy to visit the city and return. To connect from hotel to other terminals takes maximum 15 minutes."

The best place for terminal 5

"This is the place to stay for Heathrow terminal 5. Nice restaurant and bar. Great breakfast and a patio overlooking outbound flights which was fun to watch. Room was nice and quiet, great bath and shower and tea making facilities and an easy trip on pod to terminal 8 pounds. No elevators so if you struggle with steps to restaurant it wouldn’t be for you. But I was impressed. Staff were great!"
