"Superb place to stay. Everything you could need was available in the room with lovely additional features like the fridge, microwave and coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a great bath and shower. We were met by the owners and shown round the facilities, including the amazingly large spa pool! It was December for our stay but we managed 90 minutes relaximg in warm water before venturing out for food. Warm, welcoming and comfortable! Would highly recommend a stay at the Ramblers Rest!"

"Only thing id say is the glasses were not clean. We actually parked down the road as we didn't relaise where the hotel car park was but was £5.50 for 24 hrs. Lovely hotel and staff were very friendly Definitely stay again."

"My only observation was when using the walk in shower there’s no shelf in there for shampoo and conditioner.As my girlfriend has a serious back problem she would have to leave them on the floor,she would not be able to pick them up,just a little corner shelf would be most helpful Thank You "
