"Very close to town, shops and transportation. Easy access to freeway. About 90 minutes from central London, if you need to go into town. I rented a car but you don't really need one as the town center is a 15 minute walk. Beautiful location, friendly neighbors, what's not to like."

"The location was pretty nice, being central to the Bury St. Edmunds town center. The location of the room was very difficult to find because the navigation apps we used put us far away from the actual room. We luckily found a mailman who took us to the right location. Other than that, the room was alright and comfortable enough. I’m not too sure it was entirely worth the cost, but it was alright. I’ll say 7/10."

"Lovely cottage, super clean and everything you could imagine was provided. Kitchen was well equipped, and so was the bathroom with toiletries provided. Great that breakfast was provided too. Private garden with comfortable seating. Able to park outside for loading and unloading then moved to an off road car park just down the road. "This place is amazing. Has everything we needed for a lovley Christmas break. Close to the water, pubs, and in a quiet area. So clean very comfortable, modern bathroom was amazing shower was exceptional. Nice touch of tea, coffee sugar as well as washing liquid all those kittle touches that made a difference. You wont be disappointed booking here. Owner David was a great help, any time i messages he was swift to reply."

A surprising stay

"Never used Dragonfly (Suraya) hotels before so was not sure what to expect. The reception was warm, welcoming and could not be more helpful My room was large (executive), warm, cosy with a great sized bed that was really comfortable The food was good, great choices, fresh and delicious, shame i could not put on room or open a tab. Spirit drinks were limited in choice. All in all a great stay and would look to use this chain again through the East of England"
