"Hotel was closed and in poor rundown condition when I arrived with my ORBITZ confirmed resrvation."

"Excellent hotel, nice specious rooms, clean bathrooms, great view and best breakfast. The only issue is the front desk staff and checkin process. Young man at the reception desk mixed up the rooms. We booked and paid extra for Nile River view. We were give one nice upgraded room, but second room was all the to the other side of the building without Nile River view. "

In the room, the shower hose had a hole so they replaced the hose and the shower head - it was great. Unfortunately the phone wasn't working but they allowed us to check out late with no charge for the inconvenience of both. The included breakfast was varied and filling - we couldn't finish it all. "Very Old property, the doors does not work the shower broke down in the middle of the night and staff does not know English. It was horrible experience. The breakfast sucks they charge for the omelette. I will not visit this hotel again. "

"A mixed bag, mostly decent. The hotel is on an island which has an efficient boat service connecting it to the dock. The gardens are really well maintained and pleasant. However, the hotel isn’t cheap and check in was not well managed - slow and unwelcoming. Having put a review in, the customer relations team did respond well and gave a free connection to our cruise boat up the Nile. Breakfast was not great, lots of choice but not the best quality. "le taxi promis n'est jamais venu à l'aéroport, la climatisation de fonctionne pas impossible de dormir plus de 40 degrés. les boissons sont quatre fois plus cher qu'en ville les chiens aboient la nuit plus grave le gérant m'a extorqué. 20€ en me faisant du chantage en ne voulant pas me raccompagner sur la berge. c'est du racket expérience totalement négative, à éviter, c'est une escroquerie."
