"The hotel lobby was beautiful and was being renovated. Beautiful tranquil paintings adored the walls. In the room, the shower hose had a hole so they replaced the hose and the shower head - it was great. Unfortunately the phone wasn't working but they allowed us to check out late with no charge for the inconvenience of both. The included breakfast was varied and filling - we couldn't finish it all. "Very Old property, the doors does not work the shower broke down in the middle of the night and staff does not know English. It was horrible experience. The breakfast sucks they charge for the omelette. I will not visit this hotel again. "

"The hotel was exactly what I wanted. Our room was comfortable and interesting, the people were lovely and helpful. The food was tasty and the view spectacular. Some of our taxi and tuktuk drivers needed help finding the correct hotel, but we were not in such a rush that it was a problem."

"The hotel was clean and comfortable, staff was really on the ball. They arranged a car for us to Luxor, with a couple of stops along the way (I recommend this). The only drawback for some people may be that it's adjacent to the bazaar. We found it charming to sit on the balcony and observe the hustle and bustle of the bazaar. Also, it closed at a reasonable hour. Still, if you want peace and quiet at 8am, you may want to at least ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. "
