" The house has a beautiful location and the view of the lake is beautiful. There are several things to do in the surrounding areas such as hiking, horseback riding, shopping and nice restaurants. The house was overall nice. It has a combination of very nice updates and a few needed updates. The couches are extremely uncomfortable. Our host was responsive for the most part."

"This house has an incredibly eclectic collection of artwork and statues as well as very interesting grounds with lots of seating areas and decks to sit on to enjoy the views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the property manager was very attentive. The layout of the house was very unique, but there are a few drawbacks to the house. "The property is beautiful, spacious and very clean in a lovely, private setting overlooking a lake. The accommodations were very tasteful and extremely comfortable. Our recommendation to the landlord would be to make sure that for large groups such as ours, provisions such as paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, and disposable paper cups for the bathroom) as well as an adequate supply of bath and dishwasher soap are available."

"It is a lovely home and for the most part it was a great stay. However, the pictures that lured us were inaccurate. Our first impression from the outside was that it was left dirty. A tray full of cigarette buts floating in brown water was not welcoming. The outdoor furniture needs new cushions. They were very dirty and wet. "We booked this property and it ruined our trip. The house had no electricity in a third of the house. There was black mold in the bathroom. We contacted the host and VRBO and none of them would assist. We had to leave the property and neither the host or VRBO would refund us. This is a terrible property and even worse host!"

"This property is a gem and had all the amenities needed for an easy arrival without hauling home along. Location allowed for lazy days by the lake or a quick ride to amazing hikes or shopping in Hudson. Mike was quick to respond to all questions and went above and beyond to provide Information that made our stay wonderful. Definitely plan to return."
