"Lovely little private and secluded cottage with pretty well maintained gardens, perfect for a few days away. Super clean and well equipped with everything needed for our stay. Great communication from owners, checkin and key access was a breeze. Bathroom was functional but is compact."

"Great two bedroom cottage quality fittings, well equipped, and in a fantastic location close to all of the pubs, restaurants, and shops. We used it as a base to do two long walks and then in the evening just walk out and back to the entertainment on offer. "

"The hotel was lovely, the staff were brilliant and the food was very good. There could have been a bit more choice for breakfast and the sausages could have been of better quality, but the cost was only £8.50 if not included. "Extremely surprised to find this hidden gem of a hotel. Cited above an old pub oozing with character and history - nothing is level or plumb as was the original way of building - I bet the walls could tell some stories. Very clean and comfortable, warm and cozy. Prices good for town centre including breakfast which was also excellent."

"I had a lovely stay here. I stayed in one of the single rooms, it was very comfortable and had a nice view of the canal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very close to the train station which was convenient for me. Could not hear any trains or traffic and had a peaceful nights sleep. Would stay again :)"
